Growing space on the Poppy runs past its walls, since the trellis roof extends over three sides with room to hang baskets, trail plants, and train vines along the roofline. Inside, 50 square feet holds 26 linear feet of upper and lower staging shelves, including a freestanding 4-tier rack that keeps supplies off the floor. The glazing is 10mm 4-wall polycarbonate rated R-2.1, retaining 30% more heat than standard 6mm twin-wall and turning direct sun into diffused light. Its FSC-certified, kiln-dried cedar frame takes moisture and seasonal swings without rotting or drawing insects. A thermostat-activated exhaust fan and a casement window handle temperature, and an interior water spigot with a collapsible hose saves trips to the outside tap.
