Product details
The set starts on its own when utility power drops and hands the load back once it returns, running on propane at 8.5 kW or natural gas at 7.5 kW, so there are no fuel cans to refill. The outdoor-rated ATS50 transfer switch is rated for 50 amps and up to eight circuits, which covers essentials such as heating, refrigeration and lighting rather than a whole panel.
The 24-volt starting system is specified from minus 22 to 104 degrees Fahrenheit with no warming kit, and the unit runs a self-test each week. Sound output is 59.5 dBA and total harmonic distortion stays below five percent, which suits sensitive electronics. Champion backs it with a 10-year limited warranty and lifetime technical support.

Arrived early and packed properly
Ordered on a Thursday and it was on a pallet outside my garage Monday morning. Every board was numbered and the hardware came in labelled bags, so we did not have to guess at anything. Two of us had it standing by Sunday afternoon.
Lumber quality is genuinely good
I have built two of these from other brands and returned one for warped boards. Not a single warped piece in this kit. The kids have been on it every day since we finished it.
Correct weight, factory sealed, clean invoice
Ordered Thursday, on the truck Friday. Cylinder was sealed and the weight was exactly right. The invoice had everything my bookkeeper needed, which is more than I can say for the supplier I was using before.
