Rated at 3 tons, this is the heavier of the two Hein-Werner shop jacks, made in the United States and built to be repaired rather than replaced. The pump base and the lift arm are cast iron, and the hydraulic pump is sealed against contamination.
An in-line pump assembly spreads lifting force evenly through the stroke, and a pressure relief valve guards against overloading. The U-joint release allows a slow, controlled drop, which matters when a vehicle is coming down onto stands. Flanged side plates and a wide base add rigidity, while large front wheels and rear casters let the jack be positioned precisely under a car, SUV, or light truck.

Arrived early and packed properly
Ordered on a Thursday and it was on a pallet outside my garage Monday morning. Every board was numbered and the hardware came in labelled bags, so we did not have to guess at anything. Two of us had it standing by Sunday afternoon.
Lumber quality is genuinely good
I have built two of these from other brands and returned one for warped boards. Not a single warped piece in this kit. The kids have been on it every day since we finished it.
Correct weight, factory sealed, clean invoice
Ordered Thursday, on the truck Friday. Cylinder was sealed and the weight was exactly right. The invoice had everything my bookkeeper needed, which is more than I can say for the supplier I was using before.
