Product details

The S2 version of the 180 puts out 150,000 BTU and uses the same condensing design, capturing heat that a conventional water heater sends up the flue. Cooler exhaust means SCH 40 2-inch venting is acceptable out to 75 feet, which usually makes the vent run cheaper than metal pipe.

Inside are dual stainless steel heat exchangers, with NOx held at 20 ppm and a gas system that converts in the field. A half-inch gas line reaches 24 feet. As many as 32 units cascade and 12 can common vent, so the same heater suits a single house or a bank feeding a larger building. A mounting bracket, four screws and anchors, two vent terminators, and four wall flanges are included.
