The 42E XP replaces the gas engine with a 56V MAX 60Ah lithium-ion battery and a brushless electric motor, which takes oil changes and fuel off the maintenance list and drops operating noise by up to 65 percent against a gas machine.
One charge covers roughly two acres, or about 1.5 hours of mowing. The 42-inch twin-blade deck offers twelve cutting heights between 1 and 4 inches and rides on dual anti-scalp wheels. Foot-pedal speed control and cruise control handle the driving, while a cast iron front axle, Step-Thru frame and adjustable high-back seat cover stability and comfort. The rear hitch tows spreaders and aerators.

Arrived early and packed properly
Ordered on a Thursday and it was on a pallet outside my garage Monday morning. Every board was numbered and the hardware came in labelled bags, so we did not have to guess at anything. Two of us had it standing by Sunday afternoon.
Lumber quality is genuinely good
I have built two of these from other brands and returned one for warped boards. Not a single warped piece in this kit. The kids have been on it every day since we finished it.
Correct weight, factory sealed, clean invoice
Ordered Thursday, on the truck Friday. Cylinder was sealed and the weight was exactly right. The invoice had everything my bookkeeper needed, which is more than I can say for the supplier I was using before.
