Nothing here needs fuel or oil changes: a 56V MAX 60Ah lithium-ion pack drives a brushless motor, and Troy-Bilt rates the machine for up to 1.5 hours of mowing, or about two acres, per charge. Running noise sits up to 65 percent below a comparable gas mower.
The twin-blade deck cuts 42 inches wide, with dual anti-scalp wheels and twelve height settings from 1 to 4 inches. Speed is set by foot pedal, and cruise control holds a pace on long straight runs. The front axle is cast iron, the frame is Step-Thru for easier mounting, and the high-back seat adjusts.

Arrived early and packed properly
Ordered on a Thursday and it was on a pallet outside my garage Monday morning. Every board was numbered and the hardware came in labelled bags, so we did not have to guess at anything. Two of us had it standing by Sunday afternoon.
Lumber quality is genuinely good
I have built two of these from other brands and returned one for warped boards. Not a single warped piece in this kit. The kids have been on it every day since we finished it.
Correct weight, factory sealed, clean invoice
Ordered Thursday, on the truck Friday. Cylinder was sealed and the weight was exactly right. The invoice had everything my bookkeeper needed, which is more than I can say for the supplier I was using before.
