Product details
The 20RCAL is a permanently installed standby set in an aluminum enclosure, wired to an RXT 200-amp automatic transfer switch. When the utility feed drops, the controller starts the engine and moves the house onto generator power within about ten seconds.
Output is 20kW on liquid propane and 18kW on natural gas, and the fuel can be changed over in the field. The Command PRO engine uses hydraulic valve lifters, so there is no break-in period and no valve adjustment on the maintenance schedule. PowerBoost adds output to start a central air conditioner without disturbing other circuits, and voltage and frequency regulation keeps the waveform steady for electronics.

Arrived early and packed properly
Ordered on a Thursday and it was on a pallet outside my garage Monday morning. Every board was numbered and the hardware came in labelled bags, so we did not have to guess at anything. Two of us had it standing by Sunday afternoon.
Lumber quality is genuinely good
I have built two of these from other brands and returned one for warped boards. Not a single warped piece in this kit. The kids have been on it every day since we finished it.
Correct weight, factory sealed, clean invoice
Ordered Thursday, on the truck Friday. Cylinder was sealed and the weight was exactly right. The invoice had everything my bookkeeper needed, which is more than I can say for the supplier I was using before.
