A heavy-gauge galvanized steel hip roof covers this 20x12 cedar structure from Backyard Discovery, shedding rain and snow and shading the space below. Pro-Tect testing puts it at 12,700 pounds of roof load, the equivalent of 30 inches of snow, along with 100 mph winds. The cedar frame resists rot and decay and arrives pre-stained, so no finishing work waits for you once the build is done. Built-in PowerPort electrical outlets and USB ports run string lights, a speaker, or phone charging without a cord trailing from the house. The footprint takes patio furniture and decor comfortably, and the same space serves as a covered spot for exercise or for parking. Parts come pre-cut, pre-drilled, and pre-stained, and the BILT app gives step-by-step guidance during assembly.

Arrived early and packed properly
Ordered on a Thursday and it was on a pallet outside my garage Monday morning. Every board was numbered and the hardware came in labelled bags, so we did not have to guess at anything. Two of us had it standing by Sunday afternoon.
Lumber quality is genuinely good
I have built two of these from other brands and returned one for warped boards. Not a single warped piece in this kit. The kids have been on it every day since we finished it.
Correct weight, factory sealed, clean invoice
Ordered Thursday, on the truck Friday. Cylinder was sealed and the weight was exactly right. The invoice had everything my bookkeeper needed, which is more than I can say for the supplier I was using before.
